Jacob 7:5 " . . I truly had seen angels, and they had ministered unto me . . wherefore, I could not be shaken."

The Holy Ghost and ministry of angels are real!

Repent While It's Day Light

Jacob 6:5 ". . repent . . while his arm of mercy is extended towards you in the light of the day, harden not your hearts."

When we repent, Christ's love can penetrate the darkness.

The Root and the Top

Jacob 5:66 " . . ye shall clear away the bad according as the good shall grow, that the root and the top may be equal in strength,"

Only as we labor "with all diligence!" (vs. 74)

Receive With Thankful Hearts

Jacob 4:3 " . . hoping that . . our children will receive (our written words) with thankful hearts . . with joy and not with sorrow, neither contempt, concerning their first parents."

Leave a written legacy!

He Will Plead Your Cause

Jacob 3:1 ". . pray unto (God) with exceeding faith, and he will console you in your afflictions, and he will plead your cause . ."

What more can we ask for?

Lifted Up In Pride

Jacob 2:13 ". . ye are lifted up in the pride of your hearts, and wear stiff necks and high heads . ."

Abundance plus "costliness" doesn't equal better people.

Partake of the Goodness

Jacob 1:7 ". . we labored diligently among our people, that we might persuade them to come unto Christ, and partake of the goodness of God,"

God offers all that's good.

They Should Do Good

2 Nephi 33:10  “ . . the words of Christ . . teach all men that they should do good.”

When Jesus Christ's words change our hearts, we can desire to "do good" always!  

The Words of Christ

2 Nephi 32:3 " . . feast upon the words of Christ; for behold, the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do."

The best advice comes from Jesus Christ.

None Other Way Nor Name

2 Nephi 31:21 ". . there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God."

Jesus Christ is the way, the only way.

Every hard and soft heart will melt at the Second Coming of Christ.

Sing unto the Lord

The day of promise is near when Jesus will return and destruction will cease. Imagine!!

I Will Be Their King

2 Nephi 10:14 "I, the Lord, the king of heaven, will be their king, and I will be a light unto them forever, that hear my words."
